Google Calender

Google Calender is very neat and useful tool by Google.  You can have Google email you and even send you a text when a event is coming up.  If you have a lot of events going on between your kids or you this tool will be very helpfull. You can click here if you would like to visit the website.

Google Chat

Google Chat is nice because you can connect with your friends for free.  It is like any other chat. Their isn't much you can do to make a chat different.  If you would like to visit you can click here.

Google HangOut

Google HangOut is very cool because you can video chat with up to 9 people.  We have tried to get it to work in our class but we are unable to get it to work.  But the little bit we have explored it was very neat.

Google Voice

Google Voice is very cool because you can get a number from Google and connect your phones to that number.  So if you give your Google number to somebody and you have that number connected to your cell phone and home phone they will both ring.  If you would like to visit this site you can click here.

ToonDoo

ToonDoo is a fun website if you like creating "stuff".  You can create a book, comics and much more.  This is very easy to use.  If you dont know much about running a computer you would be fine on toondoo.  If you would like to visit this site you can click here.

Primarygames.com

This web site has many fun games, including racing games, action games, puzzle games, and much more.  My favorite game was Parking mania.  If you would like to go to this website you can click here.

Stats/Flag visitor summary.

I have had two visitors since i installed the flag counter.  They are both from the United States.  I also have had 52 views since i installed Fiedjit.  And those visitors used many different browsers.  My over all page views is 405.  That is from my blog stats.

Picture Editing

There are many sites that you can edit pictures on, some include pizap, pixlr, and lunapic.  They are all very neat websites. But my favorite is pizap because you can do some much with the picture.  I think I edited about 3 or 4 pictures on this website.

 The picture above is one I edited using pizap.  Another website we explored was Photoshow.  It has some neat editing tools.  The picture below is one that I edited using this website.

Teacher Tools

We explored classroom tools on two websites, Super Teacher Tools and Class Tools.  Both of the websites have games and something useful for a teacher.  They have a random name picker and a random seating chart maker.  But my favorite thing on the two websites is jeopardy the game.  It is on Super Teacher Tools website.

ProProfs

ProProfs is a fun website to visit.  You can play games and you can also make your own games.  You have to register if you want to make a game.  I made a hangman game, you can put your own words in the hagman game.  If you would like to visit the website you can click here.

Avatars

There are many differant websites to create an avatar.  Here are some of the websites that I explored.  DoppleMe,  I did not really care for this website because the designs of the avatars you could create.  Another one is a South Park avatar.  I liked this one because of all the options you had to put on your avatar.  I created on and the photo will be above the post.  The last avatar website that I explored was BeFunky I really like this website because of all the options that you have to edit a photo. 

Google Jobs

I have found a few jobs offered by Google, one of these is Sales Engineer.  The job is offered in Kansas City, KS, the job is to deploy new higher speed internet to the area.  The minimum qualification is have a BA/BS degree and four years of relevant work. You will have to be responsible  customer goals and challenges.  Some details about the job is your role is technical solutions.  The job is a full time position.  And the listing was posted on Jan 13, 2013. Google Doodle

Google has a new doodle on their home page every day.  It usually has a theme.  My favorite doodle was for Thomas Edison's birthday.  It has some of his invention built in to the doodle. Google Drive

Google Drive is a free tool from Google.  On Google Drive you can make a document, presentation, spreadsheet, and a form.  Their is no program such as pages or word that has to be used in drive.  It has a neat feature and that is where you can work on the document with somebody ells that is on a different computer.  I don't know how may can work on a document at once but we had our whole class of 14 on a spread sheet at once.  If you would like to visit Google Drive you can click here.

FlashVortex

FlashVortex.com is a website were you can make animated text.  It is neat because you can make a title of a blog "move" and add joy to your blog.  I made one, but am not using it because I dont like it very much.  You should go and explore the website it is very neat. 

Glowtxt

Glowtxt is a website were you can create a text and add "glow" to it.  I tried making a glowtxt but my computer would not load the text.  I explored the site and found neat stuff on it like you can have different background and different "glow".  If you would like to visit the site you can click here.

Google Tricks

I found a few cool tricks that Google does, like Google Gravity.  I had also found Google Sphere and that is were every thing on the Google search page except the search bar revolve in a sphere.

Firefox Add ons

There are many different add ons, some are helpful and others not so much.  They can help you with your browsing experience.  I have use a few of the add ons, such as AniWeather, it tells me the weather when I open Firefox and is in the top right corner of the window. Favicon

Favicon.cc is a web site where you can make a favicon.  You can make your own picture by drawing it.  You can also choose a picture from your computer or the internet and then you can upload it.  You can also choose one  that somebody has already made.  It is a neat site and to visit it you can click here.This is my favicon that I made in Computer Essentials.(above) 

Bloggin on the iPad.

The iPad app is much different than the web. I like the web better because it is easier to use. The app is a little harder to use than the web because the way it is set up. The app is easier to add a picture to a blog post. I think they are both user friendly. But I haven used the app to its full ability, but the little I used it I didn't like it as much as the web. The picture is of the app version.

Symbaloo

Symbaloo is a book marking web site.  It allows you to have multiple web sites on a page.  You can have more than one page of bookmarks.  I have really no use for it because I am not on the computer much, but now that i am in a computer class I am on it much more.  It would be very useful for someone on the computer alot.  If you would like to visit Symbaloo you can click here.

Gadgets

Their are many gadgets on the blog that you can use.  Some of them can help you in school and others are just for entertainment.  My favorite gadget is a  running game called Sprinter 100 Meters.  It is a little fun.  And I also like the google gadget.

Blog Stats

As of January 8, 2013 my blog has had 85 views.  They have been on many different browsers such as Safari, Firefox, and Google Chrome.  The most views in one day so far is 25 and that was on January 8th.  They have entered from many different sites.  All of the websites are listed below in the picture.
